Welcome to Nimpo Lake and the Chilcotin

Home to some of the premiere fishing lakes and rivers in North America, the Chilcotin Coast is situated between the Fraser River and the BC Coastal Mountains.  This natural setting brings you closer to the wilderness, which is surrounded by beautiful snow-capped mountain ranges, ice fields, alpine meadows, and acres of pine forests filled with wildlife.  This outdoor experience highlights the Chilcotin's cozy country atmosphere.

Fishing Adventures at Pine Point Resort

This coastal area plateau is home to more than 8,000 fresh water lakes and over 17,000 kilometres of clean mountain streams.  It is one of the leading freshwater sport-fishing destinations in North America.  The Chilcotin, and especially Nimpo Lake, is notorious for these dazzling rainbow trout fly-fishing waters.  Guests will find fantastic fishing opportunities as well as memories to last a lifetime at Pine Point Resort.

Floatplane Capital of British Columbia

Nimpo Lake, the floatplane capital of British Columbia, is one of the most prominent and scenic lakes in the Chilcotin area. Pine Point Resort is located on the south-western shore of the lake, offering guests heavenly solitude for a relaxing wilderness experience.  Aviation fuel is available at the aircraft dock at Pine Point Resort and for our aviator friends we offer free Biennial Flight Reviews during your stay.
