Pine Point Resort is located on beautiful Nimpo Lake, the floatplane capital of British Columbia. This deep-water lake stretches 12 kilometres in length and provides visitors with stunning scenic views of the surrounding mountains. The remarkable Rainbow, Itcha, and Ilgachuz Mountains, the Monarch Ice Fields, vivid waterfalls including dramatic Hunlan Falls, wildlife, and lush meadows provide a backdrop for many wilderness adventures around the Nimpo Lake area. You can comfortably relax in quiet solitude far removed from the hectic pace of modern life.

The Nimpo Lake area is perfect for fishing, swimming, hiking, and hunting, in the midst of a unique display of incomparable natural beauty. The Nimpo Lake region contains a diverse collection of animal and plant life in the perfect venue for a great outdoor Chilcotin experience.

Patient and attentive observers are likely to see area’s wildlife inhabitants. Moose, deer, grizzly and black bear, caribou, wolves, fox, mountain goats, fishers, beaver, muskrat, mink, and otter share the forest and meadows with human visitors. Eagles dominate a wide range of birdlife including osprey, owls, grouse, swans, geese, ducks, loons, and numerous smaller species. Nimpo Lake offers some of the best rainbow trout fishing British Columbia has to offer.

If fishing is what brings you to the region, you will enjoy angling for native rainbow trout, cutthroat or dolly varden as well.

Flights to the more remote lakes in the region can also be arranged through Pine Point Resort to meet all your fishing and flight-seeing needs.
